Honor Ensembles at the Music for All National Festival, presented by Yamaha

Music for All presents three positively life-changing honor ensemble experiences for the nation’s outstanding high school concert band, orchestra and jazz musicians. As part of the Music for All National Festival, the honor ensembles provide a national stage and world-class learning and performance opportunities with distinguished conductors, artists and master teachers.

Honor Band of America

Since its inception in 1992, the Honor Band of America has earned a national reputation as one of the nation’s finest student concert honor bands. With the opportunity to rehearse and perform with renowned conductors and world-class guest artists, to premiere new commissioned works for concert band and perform for a “dream audience" of outstanding high school musicians and educators from across the country, the Honor Band of America is a “must" for the finest young musicians.

Honor Orchestra of America

The Honor Orchestra of America provides a truly "positively life-changing experience" for outstanding string players, orchestral winds and percussion.

Jazz Band of America

Music for All’s tradition of outstanding national honor ensembles showcasing the finest high school musicians includes the Jazz Band of America. The Jazz Band of America is comprised of high school musicians, selected by recorded audition. The Jazz Band of America is recognized as one of the top honor ensembles for young musicians in the nation, with a prestigious legacy and reputation for the highest level of excellence. Many members of the Jazz Band of America are also selected for the GRAMMY® jazz bands.
