The Indiana Arts Education Network is a broad coalition of Indiana organizations & leaders who are committed to help every Indiana child reach their full potential by ensuring they receive a well-rounded education that includes music & the arts.
Indiana children are in danger of losing music & arts classes if K-12 education funding is cut during the next budget cycle due to the impact of the COVID-19 shutdowns on Indiana’s economy. Music & the arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education as defined by federal law. However, they are also among the first to be cut when budgets get tight. We must be proactive to head off this challenge before it becomes a reality.
