at the Bands of America Grand National Championships presented by Yamaha

Join us for a meet and greet, tour, lunch and mini-summit on the scholastic arts at Carmel High School on Friday, November 9, 2012 during the Grand National Championships.

Carmel High School will be hosting the event, and invite you to join them at 11:30 a.m. to board Music Travel Consultants charter buses that will take you from Lucas Oil Stadium to the summit.

Join us during this uniquely engagingly, insightfully informative, down-to-earth networking and idea exchange that has become an annual part of the Grand Nationals celebration. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to meet your colleagues face-to-face from across the county who are seriously committed to the arts and music education.

Once you arrive at Carmel High School there will be a meet and greet, a tour of the music and arts facilities, a catered lunch with a 90-minute facilitated dialogue. This is an interactive opportunity to engage in a constructive conversation with your peers from across the country. Co-led by nationally renown author, professional speaker and educational consultant, Fran Kick and ISSMA’s Mick Bridgewater, Assistant Executive Director. Topics will include current challenges and opportunities facing music and arts education, including setting standards for teachers and others issues.
