Music for All continues the tradition of outstanding national honors ensembles showcasing the finest high school musicians with the Jazz Band of America. The Jazz Band of America is comprised of high school musicians, selected by recorded audition.

Conductor, 2012 Jazz Band of America

Grammy-winning bassist/composer/conductor John Clayton will conduct the 2012 Jazz Band of America. The movers and shakers in the jazz industry, including Quincy Jones and Tommy Lipuma, consistently request Mr. Clayton's talents. He has served as Artistic Director and musical director for many leading jazz festivals.

  • The “credential" of membership in an elite “family" that includes only a select number of the nation’s most outstanding young musicians
