Congratulations Marian Catholic High School for being the first band to earn the BOA patch and permanent recognition in Music for All's headquarters as a Founding Alumni Chapter School!

Carmel, Stephen F. Austin and Trinity High Schools have reached the Finals level while Norwin and The Woodlands High Schools are only a few donations shy of earning the Finals patch.

In order to be successful, the campaign must engage at least 250 BOA bands. Below is a breakdown of the patches earned by the 114 bands, currently averaging donations of $65, that are represented on the BOA letter jacket, as well as the total representation needed to meet our goal.

What can you do to perpetuate your band's participation?
Determine a level that you think your band program can achieve. Compose a message to your high school alumni group, parents, students and/or fans, send it out and make your own contribution. If you believe, like Greg Bimm and so many others who have participated in our programs, that you can't imagine your life without your BOA experiences, then I hope you will call on those that shared in your experiences and participate in this campaign.

Any level of contribution is needed and appreciated. Read Greg Bimm's letter sent to the Marian Catholic HS alumni, parents and fans. To view the new video testimony of Dean Westman and Frank Troyka, shot during the banquet of the Honor Band at Tournament of Roses, or to make your contribution visit www.bands.org/alumni.

For those of you already reaching out to the alumni on behalf of BOA, thank you! We have 5 more weeks to keep the legacy and tradition alive.

Best Regards,

Scott McCormick
