The 2007 Grand National Championships are underway!
The 2007 Grand National Championships kicked off Wednesday evening with the Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) Marching Band Tournament at the RCA Dome.
The event featured seven IPS school bands and the third annual Voice.TV Spirit Award.
The audience enjoyed performances by Arlington H.S., Arsenal Technical H.S., Broad Ripple H.S., George Washington H.S., Emmerich Manual H.S., Northwest H.S., Thomas Carr Howe Academy and George Washington Community School.
Local radio personality, "Mic P" energized the students in the stands between shows.
Broad Ripple High School was crowned champion for the second year in a row at the end of the night and Arlington High School took home the Voice.TV Spirit Award.
Congratulations to each high school for outstanding performances on the field at the RCA Dome!

Times have been updated for Thursday's showing of "From the 50 Yardline" at the IMAX Theater in Indianapolis.
"From the 50 Yardline" will screen at 6:30 p.m. & 8:15 p.m. on Thursday night.
"Chops" will be shown at the IMAX theater at 9:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
