"As we all (musicians or not) walk into the future, we do so more educated, more musical, and more filled with the energy and meaning of life because there was a man who was walking with us named William D. Revelli, whose diminutive size was the antithesis of his genuine stature."
- James F. Keene, Director of Bands & Professor of Music, University of Illinois

Dr. Revelli's legacy continues to live through the many students who benefit from the generosity of those who advocate the importance of music education. The Revelli Fund, established in honor of Dr. William D. Revelli is focused on perpetuating opportunities for music education.

The Revelli Fund College Tuition Scholarship Awards were established to contribute to the future of music and music education in America by honoring the achievements of outstanding graduating high school seniors who intend to pursue collegiate study as a music education major. These one-time scholarships are awarded annually to students selected from nominations from bands performing at the Bands of America Grand National Championships. The awards are made possible through generous gifts from the following friends of The Revelli Fund:

• The Mark Jolesch Scholarship
• The Yamaha Corporation of America Scholarship
• Fred J. Miller Family Scholarship
• The Music for All Foundation Scholarship
