The Friends Asking Friends fund raising tool allows you to raise money to cover your participation fees and generate a gift to support Music for All (a non-profit 501(c)3).
This is accomplished by requesting donations from your friends and family across the nation.
The program allows you to register online, and your friends and family to post donations to your personal fundraising account.
Any dollars raised beyond your participation fees will support the Music for All Annual Fund.
If you do not choose to make a gift to Music for All, simply raise only the dollars needed to cover your participation costs.
Already paid for part of your experience?
Don't worry, Music for All will apply your online fundraising dollars FIRST for your participation fees.
Any personal payments exceeding your participation fees will be refunded after the event.
(Please note that donations will only be directed towards your Music for All participation fees and cannot be used to subsidize travel or other related expenses.)
Best of all, your fundraising dollars will be collected in one easy location that you can manage and monitor from anywhere across the country!
This service is being offered free of charge, and will hopefully help you reach friends and family members who are both near and far!
Friends Asking Friends has tools which allow you to send emails to your friends and family requesting their support using a customizable template.
Your friends and family can visit the website and make a contribution to your page directly, or you can enter their pledges and donations manually.
You can watch your progress on your site in the "My Reports" section.
Please follow these instructions to get started:
- Select the link below for the program you wish to raise funds for.
- Click on "Participant Registration" in the left toolbar.
- Fill in the registration form and then click "Continue." Don't forget to write down your username and password!
- You will be redirected to a confirmation page which you will also receive by email. Click "Continue."
- You will now be directed to your very own homepage! From here you can enter pledges and donations, create your own website for supporters to see, or send emails to your friends and family to encourage their support.
- Don't forget to say thank you! Visit the Email Friends section of your homepage to send a custom thank you letter to friends and family who make a donation to your cause.
