Dan_Potter_BOADan Potter has been involved in marching band and drum corps for over 30 years. He is the announcer for many Bands of America and Drum Corps International shows nationwide and hosts not only BOA's Break Ranks! podcast, but Drum Corps International's Field Pass podcast as well. Both cover the best in marching music. Dan was drum major in both high school marching band and drum corps. He has also instructed high school bands in Indiana, Texas and Oklahoma.

Dan is a veteran journalist, radio personality and talk show host. He is the recipient of numerous broadcast journalism awards, including the Radio-Television News Directors Association's Edward R. Murrow award for best radio newscast in the US and the DuPont-Columbia University Silver Baton for excellence in broadcast journalism.

An accomplished amateur 'chef,' Dan is also the host of OKFoodie, a weekly cooking, food and wine show on KRMG Radio in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Taped in front of a studio audience, OKFoodie welcomes guest chefs who prepare several courses for the audience while discussing cooking techniques and personal kitchen stories.
