Selection for a position on Team SWAG is very competitive.
Applicants must have completed one semester of undergraduate study or have military or other professional experience and must submit a summary of their band experience, three letters of recommendation, and an audition tape for instrumental area assignments.
Each year, only the most outstanding candidates are selected to form Team SWAG.
